Problem with your photos on TV

Hello,

I'm on Vista Premium and the Micro Application software "Your Photos on TV Deluxe 207" installs without any issues, but when I try to create a new project, as soon as I add a photo, Windows reports a problem and the program crashes.
Despite numerous messages with Micro Application's customer support, this problem is still not resolved.
For now, the software is completely unusable with Vista.
Are there others experiencing this same problem?
If so, what should I do? 
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    The problem is Explorer; you need to install Firefox and uninstall Explorer.

    I am replying to myself for the benefit of all those who want to use "your photos on CD and DVD deluxe 2007 or 2008"
    be aware that this software does not work at all or works very poorly (depending on your configuration) with Vista
    the proof is that Micro Application has just refunded my purchase because the technical support has thrown in the towel, unable to get
    their software working with Vista on my system.
    What is really disappointing is that they clearly state on their box that it is compatible with Vista, but in fact, I don't believe it can work well with Vista (advertising to sell, I think)

    the problem is that I don't see today what software could do like "your photos on CD and DVD" and be compatible with Vista
    if any of you have ideas, please let me know.

      It's great to meet people who have the same problem as me, honestly, I was seriously starting to wonder if I was the one who was too blonde to be able to use this software.

      Actually, there's Nero version 8 which costs 70 euros and is supposed to be really good, I've been to 3 stores and they all recommended it to me.

      I'm so frustrated, I spent over 10 hours trying to make a so-called slideshow, which crashed as soon as I tried to burn it, ugh, what a mess at Micro Application.

      Come on, stay strong!

        Hello,
        I thought I was the only one having problems. Like you, I spent 6 hours making my slideshow, and when it came time to save it, I lost everything, even though I had saved it. I'm really disappointed with this software - on top of that, I can't upload MP3s; I have to use music from the USB stick. If you have any solutions, I'm all ears and I thank you.
        Good luck, but it's quite frustrating nonetheless.

        Hello.. I just looked at this forum and I read your message.. I installed Tele CD 2007.. when I only do photos like a CD, there’s not too much problem.. But when I do it with videos and photos.. I want to burn and my PC crashes every time.. before I found 2006 and I can’t find it anymore..

    I see that many people have issues with this software.
    For me, it worked for my first slideshow and for the second, it just kept crashing. After spending a lot of time, I managed to put it together, and at the time of burning, I encountered problem after problem: my editing table disappeared and then I lost the remote control to burn: what should I do?
    If you can help me, I am not a computer expert.

    Hello,

    I bought the 2006 version and at first it crashed all the time!!
    Now it doesn't crash anymore, but I can't burn to DVD; the encoding goes fine, but the burning fails. I can't tell if it's the software or my burner.

    To address your issue, save what you're doing as you go, if you can manage to do anything!!

      I have the same problem as you, everything goes up to the burning process and it says: "burning failed: internal error 8". It's impossible to burn, have you found a solution? I need to burn it at all costs!! Thank you for your help.

    it's true that I'm also questioning the reliability of micro applications, especially in solving compatibility issues with their products.
    In any case, I can't record anything because I can't do anything....
    If they wait for their image to tarnish before reacting, it will be too late!!!!!

    Hey, so I went to the store, I bought the 2008 version and everything works perfectly. I recommend buying it at a supermarket; I'm not disappointed at all and nothing crashes, everything works.

      I'm hesitating a lot about buying this software considering the negative messages. Are you on VISTA too or not, because it seems that the problem comes from that and probably not from buying it in stores or not?

    Hello,
    I am unable to install the 2nd software Print-CD-DVD from Vos Photos à la télé DELUXE 2008
    The first software installed fine, but without this 2nd software the remote control for encoding and burning to CD or DVD is missing.
    An error message appears:
    The installer has detected an error
    - Close any running programs
    - Clear your temporary files
    - Check your Internet connection (Internet-based configuration)
    - Then try to restart the installer
    - Error code – 6001

    I had no programs open, could not find the term temporary files, no Internet connection, and disabled the antivirus.
    My computer is equipped with Windows XP.
    What should I do! Thank you in advance for your help. I am confident that a kind soul will help me.
    I used version 2007 for a year and one day I couldn't open it anymore, which is why I switched to version 2008. I made some very nice slideshows with the version 2007 software. I would really like to regain those services.

      Good evening, I am unable to respond to you, I got angry, I no longer have the software and they refunded me (well I haven't received the transfer yet), because apparently it was due to my incompatible graphics card????????? They're really incompetent at Micro.

    I contacted Micro Application, they also had me try some manipulations without results.. then I sent them the analysis on this... they asked me to download an update for the activator before launching the software... and since then it's working, I hope my experience can help others.

    I have the version "your deluxe photos 2008". I can create and save, but when I want to burn, at the end of the process, I get a message saying "error 206"

    Hi everyone, I have a sound problem:
    I installed the 2007 version on my laptop (with Vista) and I have issues launching the software. When it does open, the editing works perfectly, but it doesn't recognize my burner... So I bought the 2008 version, which is supposed to be compatible with Vista, and now it opens fine, recognizes the burner, but my videos have no sound and it only burns part of the project even though it shows 100% at the end of the burning process.

    What can I do besides asking for a refund?

      I had the same problem. If I asked for the photos in 1080, I would get 1000 photos in a few minutes only to find that only a few were there in the end. But if you request the 720 option, it works fine and does it by itself, but it takes a long time...

    I have the 2008 version and since I got a new computer with Vista... it's impossible to burn. I'm waiting for a response from the programmers because the update is not enough. It's really annoying because the software is great.

    I see I'm not the only one having issues with Micro Application, installation on Windows XP for the 2008 version, unable to get 3D effects and transitions...

    I've sent two emails to Micro App, no response yet. I already had issues with another one of their software "Compositeur" and they ended up refunding me because their technical support was unable to solve the problem!!!!!! I believe these people are completely indifferent to us as customers. I suggest we all send a complaint email every day, maybe they will eventually change their commercial and customer service policies.

        Hello, the customer service specialist at Micro Application simply tells me that they will process the refund!
        This is unacceptable since I spent days and nights crafting presentations with texts, effects, music... All this work thrown away because we can't burn it!!!
        And the software is still on sale even though they can't seem to resolve the issues!!!

    I bought Your Photos on TV 2008 and I have exactly the same problems, except that my PC runs on Windows XP.
    I am waiting hopefully (not much) for solutions from Micro app.

      I just finished editing 1000 photos with texts and music... the encoding took 36 hours and burning it onto the CD took about 30 minutes. I'm using Windows XP... Forget the 1080 version and put your photos in 720.wmv.

        Explorer is part of Windows so it cannot be uninstalled. So download Firefox and set it as your default browser.

    There is an update dated 12/26/2007 on the MicroApp website for this product.
    I downloaded it, and since then, oh! miracle, it works.
    Well, I haven't tried burning it yet...

    Hello,

    Well, I can see that you are facing the same problem as I am. I just purchased (paid) the downloadable version and I feel like I'm going to have to "struggle" to find the solution.

    If you have a solution, I made a slideshow with MWM but when I save it, I can't view it. Neither on the DVD nor on the DivX.

    As for me, I have the 2007 version which works well, except that you have to save often because it closes every now and then.
    I installed the 2008 version, but some menus don’t work like "3D transitions," "3D compositions," and one or two other menus that I can't remember.
    Apparently, all of this is not very reliable, which is a shame because it creates very beautiful slideshows.
    If anyone has solutions... welcome!!

      I had the same problem on XP. In fact, it's a memory size issue. You must absolutely close everything that consumes memory.
      I have since switched to a code2 and everything works.

        I would also like to know what code 2 is, because I installed the software on my two PCs, my mobile running Windows 7, and the 3D effects aren't working, then on my desktop PC running Windows XP and it still doesn't work. I have done the updates, the patch, contacted customer service which made me do several manipulations and the software still doesn't work. As for customer service, there has been no follow-up, complete silence, pure and simple abandonment. I know we can't count on them.
