Hello,

I can't find the automatic insertion function for the filename and its location in PowerPoint, like we have in Word for example.
How can I automatically add the filename and its location to a PowerPoint slide?

to my knowledge this is not planned

when displaying the slide master and clicking Insert, you only find Slide number and Date and time

when displaying the document master and clicking Insert, you only find Page number and Date and time

all you have to do is type it in the master: it will repeat throughout the presentation.

Yes, I had seen that there was only the slide number, the date, and the time.

Is there another way to automatically include this tiny piece of information? I'm inevitably thinking of a VB macro, but my programming classes are too far in the past now and I'm lost...
