Remove the overclock from a PC

Hello, I want to remove the overclock from my PC, as it seems to be what prevents a game from starting.
Since I got this PC (set up by a friend), I hear a voice at startup that says "error due to processor overclocking," but it has never caused me any issues.
While searching through different forums, I found other users with this problem with the same game.
I found a lot of topics on how to overclock your PC, but none on how to revert to a "stable" configuration.
Is there anyone who can help me?
Thanks.

You need to go into the BIOS of your PC, then into "CPU configuration"
And set the "FSB" to 166 (MHz)
