Hello,

After the laptop keyboard on the Asus that hasn’t lit up for over a year, after the HP printer that refuses to print documents with the "copy" function, now my wife’s Android phone (Xiaomi) can no longer call mine (Umidigi) even though everything worked normally just two weeks ago. When she calls me, she immediately reaches voicemail without my phone ringing. However, the reverse works fine; I can call her without issue. It’s still quite a nuisance because to reach me she has to text me. Does anyone have any idea what solution to apply, or should I contact the Holy See for a global exorcism of the family electronics? Thanks in advance

    Good evening,

Which network (Orange, SFR, etc.) is used by your smartphone?

The same network for both, SFR.

Not applicable. My wife's phone does not work only with mine, but it works fine with other people.

      Hello,

It is then, and probably due to an error, that in the settings of the corresponding contact record the option to send to voicemail was checked.

Or filtered as spam by an incomplete system that only filters phone calls and not voicemail, apart from dedicated apps, as far as I recall that’s the case for Google’s telephony app.

Thanks to all the brave people who answered me by offering solutions that, alas, did not bring any change to the problem. On my wife's phone, everything looks OK on the contact sheet regarding my number. Besides, it was working correctly a few weeks ago and my wife has never changed the contacts and no program is interfering with her calls, which always go to my voicemail. Oddly, her video calls go through to my device without any problem... Thanks again to all the Sherlock Holmes who are using their brains....

Thank you for your message. I tried the code on my wife's mobile and got the following message:

        Operator information

        Call forwarding

Connection problem or invalid IHM code. (0)

I must admit I was tempted to drill into the device...

To deactivate SFR call forwarding, dial the corresponding code:

    • #21# for unconditional forwarding,
