TomTom Start 40 GPS stuck after interrupted update

Hello,

I have a TomTom Start 40 GPS that, when I turn it on, displays the logo, then the music (but not all the way to the end), then the screen goes black for a few seconds, and then the logo reappears. And nothing happens after that; it stays on with the logo displayed.

As a little background, this happened after I tried to update it. At 15% of the update, the GPS disconnected and the update was interrupted. I restarted the update and then MyDrive Connect told me that I was no longer connected to the internet (even though I was). I tried later but the GPS didn't want to start normally anymore.

I watched a video to do a reset. I tried I don't know how many times, but I couldn't succeed; the text that's supposed to appear doesn't show up.

Can you please help me? Because customer service kindly told me that I needed to buy a new GPS....

    Hello

    a lead...that has allowed me to keep my via125 until today

    windows10 is unable to create an ethernet connection with my device, windows 7 does!

    the update for old devices only works with an old operating system, namely windows7!
