Unexpected crash

Hi there, I’m quite desperate so I’m throwing a bottle here.
For several years now I’ve had a desktop PC. But I’m unable to play certain games like DeathLoop, Remnant 2 or Tiny Glade... Whereas Watch Dogs 2, GTA 5, Baldur's Gate 3 or Cyberpunk pose no issues.

I’ll take Remnant 2 specifically because that’s my current problem.
The game crashes, without any prior freeze, without an error message. One moment I’m running in the game, the next I’m on my desktop... My temperatures are fine, with a hotspot at 70 °C maximum. My task manager doesn’t show any worrying spikes. The highest usage is RAM 11 GB of 16.
I don’t find any issue in Windows Event Viewer. It’s as if I’m pressing Alt + F4.

For Remnant, the first day I crashed every 5 to 10 minutes. Then I was able to play about twenty hours in 3 days without issue (max 8 crashes over the duration). But since yesterday, I’ve reached a part of the game that my PC does not like at all... While everything seems to run fine.

Here’s my config :
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT
VRAM: 16 GB
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.60 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
SSD: 500 GB (130 free)
Motherboard: B550 Gaming X V2

All my drivers are up to date. And all my overlays are disabled.

If anyone feels like Sherlock Holmes, I’d be happy to answer any questions so they can help me out.

    After analyzing the solution proposed by Panth33a, whom I salute by the way, it must be known that the problem of crashes in games is known on the 69xx and 79xx series; there is a substantial literature on the net on this same subject:

    The Google AI's answer is relevant; undervolting the graphics card is often the only solution. Updated drivers are also necessary.

    Thanks to both of you for replying! I tested the game for a while with voltage and power consumption reduced via AMD Adrenalin. From this test, there were no crashes! ??????

    Would a more powerful power supply allow me to revert to default settings? (I currently have a Be quiet! System Power 10 - 750W)

    And last question, could running it underclocked/undervolted for a long time be harmful? Like driving a car for a long time in low gear?

      Will using a higher-wower supply fix the problem? Not sure; given the posts we find about these very specific issues, we see users with big PSUs, it’s a lottery...

      There is no risk in running the card at a lowered voltage.
