I performed a system restore point on a USB drive and I’m trying to display the advanced options to perform a system restore with my USB drive on the PC stuck in automatic repair, but the advanced options no longer appear.

Force shut down by holding the power button until the advanced options appear

In Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore

    Choose another restore point...

    If that doesn't help,

From another PC, use the MediaCreationTool to download a Windows 10 ISO file (for another PC). For Windows 11, if compatible, you can download it directly to create an 8 to 16GB USB drive or larger to upgrade, repair, or install Windows

    Windows 10
    https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10/

    Windows 11
    https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows11

Once you have the Windows ISO file, you can create a bootable USB drive with Rufus or Ventoy

    https://rufus.ie/fr/

    https://www.ventoy.net/en/download.html

If the PC is old, you need to create the USB drive in MBR mode

If it is newer (Windows 8 or later) in GPT mode for EFI (Secure Boot Support for Ventoy depending on how the BIOS is configured)

Boot from it using the PC's Boot Menu key

You can search on Google for "[Brand Model] Boot Menu Key"

    Choose "Custom installation" (Not upgrade)

You are not required to format if there is free space; if there are data, they will end up in a Windows.old folder (which will be automatically deleted after 10 days)

Install on the same partition, or, if you prefer, delete all system partitions and create a new one (Delete the data).
