Gmail: end of Gmailify and POP3, impact on email reception

Gmail recently stopped supporting some of its historical functions, including Gmailify and POP3. These frameworks allowed users to centralize their various email accounts in one place. This change has resulted in many users being unable to see all their emails in one location. Gmail justified this change by stating that it wants to offer more secure and modern options for accessing messages. To compensate for these changes, Gmail encourages its users to use IMAP, which allows for real-time synchronized message access. What adjustments have you had to make as a result of these changes?

    Hello,

    For two years now, Outlook has already stopped the ability to use POP3.

    Since then, synchronizing with IMAP has been a nightmare.

    Some messages opened in Outlook are marked as READ but not in Gmail.

    Even worse, messages that are marked as read come back as unread, and it’s not necessarily the ones that remain unread in Gmail.

    When you categorize a message in a folder on Outlook, either it stays in the inbox on Gmail, or it gets marked as unread when Gmail categorizes it too.

    Moreover, almost all the messages you decide to delete through Outlook remain on Gmail instead of going to the online trash.

    Who is responsible? I still haven't been able to determine that to this day.
