BRAVE Browser
This morning, when I opened my PC, my Brave browser opened on an unexpected and unfamiliar page. It offered me several Brave sessions so that each person using the same PC could have their own personal session.
And it was impossible to go back to the previous Brave layout. So, I clicked randomly on one of the sessions, and unfortunately, it was the wrong choice; I lost everything: bookmarks, passwords.....
Has anyone ever had this problem and could someone explain it to me?
Thank you!

Hello too,
I don't use Brave as I find it too restrictive; the best is the enemy of the good. However, I suppose that like other browsers that allow for multiple profiles, it permits switching from one to another "blindly" until you find the one that contains those data if you don't remember its name?
Thank you for your response, but I don’t see how to "switch".
Let’s leave that. And let’s look at the other problem I have because I’ve lost "everything". I have a free TutaMail account. Wanting to upgrade to a paid account to have more features, I ended up opening another Tuta account instead of "switching".
Realizing my mistake, I requested the cancellation of this new account.
The problem is that since I’ve "lost everything", I can't retrieve it. It's always the free account that’s being offered to me, and it’s impossible to open the other one, to make it appear on the screen.
A bit curious all my stories, isn’t it?
The described situation suggests the proposal or even the creation of several profiles, each with its own data.
If this is not the case and an external backup of one's profile has not been properly made, obviously, it's losses and profits.
Conversely, Brave has a market share that is almost non-existent and support of the same arithmetic value, which does not simplify matters.
Assuming I believe (a screenshot of the thing?) several profiles are offered at startup like Windows profiles, you restart and choose one, then the other, etc. until you retrieve your sheep. Once done, you should be able to rename this profile to avoid searching for it again, then delete the others if they are not needed.
The content of the profiles is located in the user folders but they are hidden, you need to display them.

Then, as discussed by some, you will find these profiles as Profile 1, Profile 2... in the folder
Users-MyName-AppData-(Local or Roaming)-BraveSoftware-Brave-Browser-UserData-Default.
The bookmarks file is called bookmarks and since Brave does everything to annoy people, it has no extension; make a copy on the desktop, rename it to bookmarks.html, open it, and successively go through all the profiles until you find the one that is "full": then import it into the current profile or copy it there with the browser closed to overwrite the blank version.
Similarly, the credentials are in a file called Login Data but this is obviously encrypted, you cannot check what is inside, you can only overwrite from the different profiles that of the current profile until they are resurrected.
