Hello,

For the past few days, the screen of my Philips LCD TV 47PFL4606H/12 has been flickering with white flashes, occasionally but increasingly frequently.

Can you help me? Thank you

Hello,

I invite you to check out this topic https://forums.futura-sciences.com/depannage/836805-tv-philips-47pfl4606h-12-a.html

It’s very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it’s not there...

thank you

I have read this topic which dates back to 2018....

It's probably the same problem with one or more CCFL tubes, and apparently the CCFL tubes for this model are nowhere to be found.... This technology is obsolete.

I bought this television 14 years ago!

I note that these white flashes mostly appear with broadcasts made by computer.

If you could provide the reference for these tubes... or at least the length, we might have a better chance of finding them... or looking for something?

Here, everything is very well explained in Baladur's link... it's a job that requires space... and above all, you mustn't break anything...

I believe... that some people replace these tubes with LED bars... you need to search online... it is being done on PCs.

Hello,

Apparently, these are tube TVs:

To remember from the PHILIPS TV 47PFL4606H

  • LCD TV with tube backlighting
  • Diagonal: 119 cm (47")
  • Full HD TV (HD TV 1080p): 1920 x 1080
  • Smoothness: Panel 100/120Hz (Clear LCD) • Index 400 (Perfect Motion Rate)
  • Audio System 2.0 of 20 W RMS
  • Tuner: TNT • Cable
  • Multimedia TV: Media player
  • Energy class: C

The issue you describe with your Philips 47PFL4606H/12 often corresponds to a problem with the LED backlighting or a defective power supply.

Hello anyway...

Except that, for this television, there is no LED backlighting but a CCFL fluorescent tube system.
