No sound between projector and soundbar

Hello everyone,
I just bought a beautiful Samsung soundbar (HW-Q935F) :-) but oh surprise, no sound after connecting it to my Epson projector (TW7000) :-(
I only have the image, that of my TV box connected to my projector. No sound then.
I first tried via Bluetooth: the projector detects it but fails to connect.
Then with an HDMI cable: and there, the projector does not detect the soundbar.
I checked the cable connections, I believe I activated the correct sources, my cable is new. So I don't see what's wrong.
Just to clarify: on my soundbar, I have an HDMI port, an HDMI ARC port, and an optical audio port. On my projector, I have 2 HDMI ports and a "audio out" jack.
I contacted Samsung's customer service, who referred me to Epson... I called Epson who couldn’t find a solution... And finally, Fnac where I just bought the soundbar advised me to buy an optical to 3.5mm jack cable but with the risk of degrading sound quality.
Could it be that there's an incompatibility between my projector and my soundbar? Do you see a solution? Before I consider returning my soundbar...
Thanks a lot!

Hello,
There is definitely a solution.
Which boxtv (Brand and model) provides the image to the projector?
It's very hard to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it isn't there...
thank you Baladur13 for your help! I have the 4k TV player from FREE, the small round black box from Free. It allows me to have 2 TVs at my place
Your 4K player from Free has a digital optical audio output and your soundbar has an optical input.
So an optical cable between the two and you will have the best possible sound.

Oh, that sounds perfect! I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I need to find this cable! But since my soundbar is quite far from the video projector: the projector is next to us and the soundbar is down below the screen, I will need a long cable (around 8m) to run along the walls next to the baseboard. Is that not a technical/reception issue? It doesn't look easy to find a long length.
No. The 4K box is right next to the projector (at couch level), the two are connected together by an HDMI cable. And the soundbar is in front (at the foot of the wall facing the couch)
and finally my box is connected via a USB cable to a wall socket that is at the level of the projector
Not sure if all this is very effective, I don't know much about it and I did it all by myself!
OK
Long optical cables do exist:

As for the Bluetooth connection...
During your attempt, was the soundbar in place (under the screen)? The procedure given in the soundbar's manual indicates that during the initial connection, the soundbar should be less than one meter away from the source (your projector). (see the soundbar manual on page 14)
Hello, if I can brainstorm together, I'll summarize: I imagine a panoramic screen with a soundbar underneath, facing a couch, above which there is a projector installed on the ceiling in reverse mode. Next to the couch, there would be a 4K TV player with a wall power supply plus a USB cable??? which I assume comes from a free server. It remains to connect the player to the projector via HDMI and the soundbar either via optical or, if possible, wirelessly like "Bluetooth" or maybe Chromecast if I understood correctly.
As for Bluetooth, I have no experience.
Hello idiot.
I don't know if the projector is installed on the ceiling or not. Let's say it's behind the couch. The soundbar can work by receiving sound via Bluetooth, optical cable, or HDMI cable, but this soundbar is on the other side of the room under the screen, meaning it's far from the projector or the box TV that provides the image via HDMI to the projector, which only has an analog audio output jack 3.5mm.
Hi bro, it's almost that but:
- the projector is on a piece of furniture next to the couch but that shouldn't change much.
- the soundbar is under the screen and not on top, but again, it's not a problem.
- the player is already connected to the projector and the TV displays perfectly on the screen. At least the image, but not the sound.
The soundbar receives my music from Deezer via Bluetooth very well. But it doesn't receive the sound from my TV: it is correctly identified via Bluetooth by the projector but the connection doesn’t work.
So I connected a long optical cable, and I'm crossing my fingers! It's frustrating not to connect via Bluetooth… and not knowing why! But I'm not sure the result would have been as effective as with a wired connection!
Thanks for the links, baladur13! In fact, the projector does detect the bar. But the connection between the two ends in a failure.
That's right Balla, we need to forget the audio on the projector and focus on the player for wireless??, the projector isn't bad!! but the Wi-Fi is optional.

please remember to mark your message as "resolved" if that's the case.
I solved the problem!!! I finally connected my player to my soundbar via Bluetooth and it works! And that’s thanks to you baladur13, for helping me understand that the sound could come from the player! So a big, big thank you, and all I have to do now is cancel the cable order! So in conclusion, the player connects to the soundbar without any problem, my phone does too, but the projector doesn’t, and that remains a mystery to me!
