Outlook app: incessant password request

Hello,

I've been using the Outlook app on my phone for a few years now and I'm encountering a problem that I can't seem to resolve: my mailboxes disconnect after 24 hours, which forces me to constantly re-enter passwords, to keep changing them, to struggle with codes, authentications, etc., it's really a nightmare to use.

Out of my 3 email accounts, one was assigned to me by work @company.com (under ms365), and I have no issues with this one as it stays connected all the time. The problem only appears with the other two, @hotmail and @live.

I don't have this problem with the Gmail app, for example. I didn't have this issue with the Outlook app before either; otherwise, I wouldn't have made it my primary email, I would have ditched it quickly. I rarely use it on the phone, but when I do need it, it always puts me in the m...

While going through the settings, I disabled the "Allow sign-in requests" option, I thought I had finally solved it, but nothing happens, it keeps going.

So I don't understand.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

    Hello,

But is this a known problem? Is everyone having this issue or is it just me?

In the sync settings, I only have "days of email to sync": 7 days or 15, 30, 45, 90... And on the web version, we have even fewer options, I found nothing in the account settings, nothing related to connection, security or synchronization...

This email service is really frustrating, everything is designed to annoy the user to the limit, to the point of sometimes forcing a freshly created password change for no apparent reason...

    "Help us strengthen your password"

    "Help us fight against bots"

    Shut your mouth!

The level of security is so twisted that it just makes you want to insult...

Indeed, excessive security has a dual effect: it protects the account from hacking, but makes the connection tedious.

I am also having trouble with my Windows 10 computer

and I would like to know how to delete this application that forces us to go into the computer settings, ... (it shows us in: shared experiences > account > fix now > and it asks for a login)

last week it was the same

(I just want to remove it from my computer, not delete my account)

Hello, that annoying problem with Outlook! Generally, it comes from their overly zealous security system. Try doing this:

First, go to the web version of Outlook (account.live.com) to check if you have any lingering security alerts. Sometimes two-factor authentication is set too strictly and it asks for the password every two days.

If not, in the app on your phone, dig into the sync settings. Look for something like "sync frequency" and set it to "unlimited." That way, your app will stay connected continuously instead of disconnecting every 24 hours.

It's often these two settings that cause issues!

So I'm also desperately looking for a solution to this problem.

It's impossible to log into Hotmail without having to change the password every time. It's unbearable!

    Who has the solution?
