Hello
My daughter just showed me her PC which is acting up. I see that it needed to upgrade to Windows 11, and I think that's the source of her problem. However, we are on the 20th, and updates are no longer available, including the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64 systems (KB5066791), which allows for the upgrade option. What can I do? Is there another solution besides having to buy Windows 11?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
Have you tried the update via this page: https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10
where it is also possible to download the W1022H2 iso file, which, once downloaded, you can open and run install.exe

Hello,
A Win10 license was valid for Win11, I don't know if that has changed? To perform a repair without data loss or an upgrade, use either the MediaCreationTool to download the Windows 10 ISO file (for another PC)
Or the Windows 11 ISO file can be downloaded directly with a button if compatible.
You can check compatibility with WhyNotWin11
(Post a screenshot if everything is not green with WhyNotWin11.exe)https://github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11/releases
If everything is green, you can proceed with Windows 11Windows 10
https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10/Windows 11
https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows11When you have the ISO file, right-click > Open with > Windows Explorer
Then click on the setup.exe file
Follow the instructions to "install" without deleting everything, ensuring the green checkmarks indicating that you will keep everything are all okay.

good evening, his processor is not compatible with the upgrade to version 11.
a friend is telling me to switch the PC to Linux instead.
have a good evening
Use Ventoy (Ventoy2Disk.exe) to create a bootable USB drive (Multi ISO if desired)
Start by copying the ISO file to the prepared Ventoy drive, and Test Ubuntu (Try Ubuntu) without installing it first, by booting from it via the PC's Boot Menu, so you can see if you like it, and if Windows 10 starts to seem less appealing, eventually install it.

Otherwise, there are ways to bypass the CPU TPM etc. limitations of Windows 11 on a not too old PC, as long as the processor has the minimum instruction sets for...

Hello
It is possible to upgrade to Windows 11 with an old PC
First, it would be interesting to know what hardware this will apply to
