Hello,

I want to install a Windows update and I got an error 0xc1900200
I saw online that it is likely a lack of space on the system reserved partition.

I'm not very experienced with this, here’s what I have on my side:

http://www.noelshack.com/2017-41-3-1507674387-partition.jpg

So I noticed I have 0% free in system, hence my question
How can I increase the size of my system partition? (if it's possible)
I'm using an SSD

Thank you in advance :)

My hardware configuration is well above the minimum requirements for the update
(I mention this because this error can also be due to the config)

Intel Core i7 4790K 4 GHz
SLI NVIDIA 2x GeForce GTX 970
DIMM DDR3 16Gb
MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Hello,

I'm sorry but my problem persists as Easeus does not allow me to resize the "System" partition; I can do it on the others but not on this one...

Hello,

There are 117 GB of free disk space on the C partition.
Moreover, you won't be able to enlarge the C partition because you don't have any free disk space....

Otherwise, the error 0xc1900200 is due to not having enough space on the EFI partition, see the following page: https://www.malekal.com/erreur-0xc1900200-sur-mise-a-jour-windows-10/
This prevents the installation of Windows 10 updates.

Please press any key to continue the disinfection...

I'm testing this tomorrow morning before heading to work to initiate the update.
It looks promising anyway!! I'll update the topic if it worked :)

I changed the subject title, your problem is the error code and not the resizing of the System partition which is actually the recovery partition of Windows 10.
It's normal that it's full.

Wow!!!! It's been a year since my PC was updated, and I managed to do it thanks to you! :)

Thank you so much!!! You are now my new god behind Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos!!

Anyway, my problem is finally solved; I didn't believe it anymore. Thank you, so much :)

Hello

I also cannot update W10, I have the error 0xc1900200

I followed all the instructions from the provided link: https://www.malekal.com/erreur-0xc1900200-sur-mise-a-jour-windows-10/
but when I reach the end of the operation, that is to say the deletion of "snapshots" in the EFI partition via the command prompt, it responds that "the file is not empty"...

What should I do?

"So I saw that I had 0% free in the system"

I have done it many times, it has to be that the unallocated partition is directly to the right of C:

Hello.

With Easeus Partition Master Free:
https://www.easeus.fr/partition-manager/telecharger-partition-master-free.html

Tutorial: https://www.easeus.fr/partition-manager-tips/partitionner-disque-dur-externe.html

Press the WINDOWS and R keys
Type diskmgmt.msc
Take a screenshot and then host the image on the Cjoint.com site:
https://assiste.com/Cjoint.html

I strongly recommend creating a system image as well as a Winre recovery media.
In the Control Panel => Backup and Restore (Windows 7)

There is no reason for it not to work; I have done it several times. You need to move the 350 MB system partition all the way to the right so that the unallocated space is directly adjacent to C:
In Command Prompt (admin) or PowerShell (admin), type:

diskpart
list disk
list part
list vol

Take a screenshot and then host the image on the Cjoint.com site.

If you move the recovery partition, booting from it will no longer work.
You need to modify BCD, etc. Reagentc, etc.
It’s far from simple.

In any case, it won't solve his Windows 10 update issue.
