Battlefield 6 won't run on my PC.

Hello,

I'm experiencing some frustration: I bought Battlefield 6 thinking that my computer's configuration would be enough to run it, at least on minimal settings.

However, even on minimal settings, the game doesn't run properly. Three icons appear in the upper right corner of the screen, and my FPS drops from 60-70 to 30. I’ve followed several tips found online, including disabling DLSS and TCX to gain a bit of performance, but nothing works.

I thought the problem was with Wi-Fi, so I bought an RJ45 cable for a direct connection, but the problem persists.

In small matches 16 vs 16, the game is playable, but in 32 vs 32, there is a lot of lag and characters teleport, making the game unplayable.

My computer is an ACER Nitro 5 with:

  • Ryzen 7 processor

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 12 GB graphics card

  • 16 GB of RAM

  • 1 TB SSD

Is it really my configuration that limits the game? Are there any alternative solutions to improve performance?

    Hi,

    based on what you describe, the issue doesn't seem to come from your setup but more from your internet connection... What's your ping/latency? Above 150 is too much to play properly.

    Battlefield 6 started off very strong, and an explanation could also come from the overload of available servers, as EA even advised that in case of issues, players should switch to Steam, which is much more robust in this regard than EA Games...

    So I have Battlefield on Steam, Ha Ha I planned ahead.

    But to follow up, it turns out that my CPU is apparently maxed out always between 90 and 100%. I tried to make some room by disabling all background applications.

    There’s some improvement, but it's still not there ????

    It may heat up a bit, which automatically limits its performance....
