Hello,
I just bought an EPSON XP-2200.
My problem is that the printer connected to a Wi-Fi network that is not mine.
After searching online, it turns out it's an interference issue. I contacted EPSON support, which is incompetent. Can you help me?

Hello,
Try resetting the network settings of the printer via the control panel on the Epson XP-2200.
Reconnect to your own Wi-Fi network using the WPS button on your router (if available) or manually enter the SSID and password of your network.
Make sure the printer is close to the router to avoid interference.
To check the connection, print a network status sheet or use the Epson Printer Connection Checker tool (on Windows) to confirm that the printer is properly connected.
Keep the printer away from other electronic devices to avoid interference.
Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is using a less congested channel by checking it through your router or a Wi-Fi diagnostic app.
Have a nice day.
Hello,
no device connects by itself to a private wifi network; with a public network, it’s possible.
Are you perhaps referring to the direct wifi of this printer?
If that’s the case, disable it and connect the printer to the box's wifi, either manually or via WPS.
And there you go, voilà ....
But misery, how annoying the line spacing is!!
Hello,
The assumption that another Wifi network might be connected is rare; there must be one available close enough.
In any case, assuming that Wifi is activated on the Box and on the PC, the direct Wifi won't choose by itself; it offers, as in any Wifi connection, the list of available networks, and you need to select the right one and enter its credentials.
Even if that were not the case, we can probably do the reverse procedure: since the Wifi is not working, we connect the printer via USB and go look for (use or create) the Wifi network from Epson Smart Panel.
