Hello

Do you think that sites like apkmirror or others (with installation bundles, etc.) that offer new beta versions of apps that are not available on the Play Store, etc., are pretty reliable, or are there often viruses because these versions are offered on my Play Store only after 1 day of being published on the site? So I don't know, since then, my Xiaomi weirdly restarts every time I do an update, the hyperos logo on a black screen, I have to restart it a second time and then it's fine.

Thank you very much

Hello,

APKMirror is generally considered one of the most reliable sites for downloading APKs, bundles, or beta versions of applications that are not yet available on the Play Store. They verify the cryptographic signatures of the files to ensure they have not been modified, and their moderation is quite strict, which significantly reduces the risks of viruses or malware. However, as with any download outside of the Play Store (sideloading), there is always a risk, albeit minimal. An APK could be corrupted or altered if the source is not entirely trustworthy, and beta versions, by their nature, can be unstable and cause bugs.

I advise you to use an app to properly install an APK file. Make sure that the installation of the bundle or APK is done correctly (for example, with Split APKs Installer for bundles). Remove old versions of the app to avoid conflicts. That might explain your bug issue.

In your specific case, the fact that the problem resolves after a second restart suggests that the app or the update causes a temporary instability at startup. Try uninstalling the app in question or reverting to a stable version available on the Play Store to see if the problem disappears.
