Hello,

When I watch a movie on my PC, after a while it starts to lag,

you can see that there's a search being done.

I tested my Orange fiber and here are the results: I'm connected via Wi-Fi between the box and the PC, and the box is located 20 centimeters from the PC.

Download speed: 495mb/s

Upload speed: 382 mb/s

Latency: 32.56 ms

Can you tell me where the problem is?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

    Hello

The box and the WiFi are not to blame.

If there is buffering, it may come from the PC's cache.

    Hello,

If you want to test your fiber, or at least the speed of your fiber connection, it should be done by connecting at least a gigabit ethernet cable to the box, depending on your fiber connection speed, at Orange, like others, it can go up to 8 Gbit/s; if you do it over Wi-Fi, it's automatically inaccurate at this level.

However, the speed you mentioned is more than sufficient for a TV.

How is the TV box connected to the main box?

    And there you have it...

But goodness, it's so annoying with the line spacing!!

oh yes, I had forgotten about that part ...

Well, if it's 20 cm away, it's worth putting in an RJ45 cable, if the PC has an ethernet port; otherwise, add a gigabit/usb3.0 adapter.

    Hello

    I just did a test with RJ45

    upload 489.4 mb/s

    latency 8.938 m/s

    Is that good?

      No, not good,

are you with Choche or Orange?

What’s your plan, is it changing a lot at the lower price range right now?

OK, so it should be 1 Gbit/s for the fiber,

do you only have this PC? It may be a bit limited.

Try testing on this site to see:
