How to turn off my 11th generation Kindle e-reader

Hello,

I want to turn off my 11th generation Kindle.

However, it only offers me the option to either turn off the screen or restart, so unless I’m mistaken, it goes into sleep mode because when I open my e-reader, it turns on immediately.

    Apparently, various searches online suggest that it is not possible to completely turn it off!

    To turn off your Kindle screen, press the power button for nine (9) seconds until the shutdown dialog appears, then select Turn Off.

    (Otherwise, it is certainly possible to wait for it to turn off by itself once the battery is completely drained by default, provided of course that it is not equipped with a button cell inside).
