Hello,

Good evening, so I will try my best to explain the issue. Since this afternoon, I have been receiving some SMS from yesterday from my contacts that I already read yesterday! When I ask them if they accidentally resent the same messages today, they tell me no!!! What is happening? Thank you for your feedback.

    Hello lutttinette,

    Let’s try these steps to attempt to resolve this issue:

    Restart the iPhone;

    Check if it is up to date by going to Settings > General > Software Update;

    Enable the automatic setting for time and date as well as the time zone. Go to Settings > General > Date & Time to do this;

    Check iCloud synchronization. Go to Settings > your name > iCloud > Show All > Messages in iCloud. Enable Use on this iPhone and then tap Sync.

      Hello, I just carried out your instructions on my end and it's all good. The last message I received yesterday from the same contact was around 10 PM. We'll see if I get the same thing today. I want to point out that this contact has already sent messages that she didn’t send to other people I know and even called people she didn't even know (she has a refurbished iPhone). I also wanted to make this clarification! Thank you for your reply.

        Feel free to let me know if the problem is resolved on your end. As for this contact, it may be caused by accidental presses, especially if the iPhone turns on in your pocket, for example, or due to a bug.
