Hello,

I think my MacBook Air 13.3 from June 2016 might be too old, my Gmail address is unable to view emails, it says this version of the browser is not compatible... please install another browser...

What can I do just to transfer spreadsheets to my iPad.

Thank you for your help... Have a great weekend.

Nikita

Hello @Nikita64700 StatutMembre.

Try using the ESR version of Firefox for macOS https://www.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/all/desktop-esr/

Is your Mac up to date? In principle, a 2015 MacBook Air can be upgraded to Monterey (macOS 12.x). Is that the case? Which browser did you try?

Just so you know, I was able to log into my Gmail account using Safari 14.1.2 on Mojave without any particular issue...

Let's say it's high time to upgrade your machine to a "more recent" version of macOS. Perhaps not Monterey, as you might be using older software that may not be compatible.

Try installing Mojave (macOS 10.14.6), which could be an acceptable compromise, if only for the time it takes to assess the 32-bit software you would need to update or replace to move forward. You can find on the page provided by Francis the links to download the newer versions of macOS.

Good evening,

What is a MacBook Air 13.3 from June 2016 exactly for you?

When you say 13.3, you are probably referring to the screen size.

But what matters is the version of the macOS system installed.

Assuming this Mac is a product model from 2015, it can go up to macOS 12, also known as Monterey, but since this Mac was originally produced and shipped with an outdated version of macOS, namely OS X 10.10 or OS X 10.11, we can imagine that a simple update of the macOS system will resolve the issue. In this case, a Mac from 2015 or 2016 should be able to use macOS 12, also known as Monterey. So please update to the latest version of macOS possible for this Mac, see this page:

https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/102662

then try...

Sincerely.
