Help to root Xiaomi Redmi A2

Hello,

I'm not a fan of the phone, but I need one to receive my security codes...

So I settle for a low-end smartphone on which I do nothing!

But over time, it becomes annoying to put up with it, and I would like to root it to uninstall certain apps that I never use and that take up unnecessary space...

But this operation scares me... My phone is no longer under warranty, so I'm ready to take the plunge, but not alone!

For example, it really frustrates me to take my time to dismiss notifications about "Mi Video" (It's impossible to turn off the notifications).

For your information: Xiaomi Redmi A2.

    Hello,

This is a complex manipulation that can result in resetting the phone (loss of everything not backed up on another device) and can irreparably damage the phone if incorrect model or language files are installed, and sometimes even in the opposite case.

It is only for geeks who are willing to take the risk of potentially bricking their phone in case of failure.

Otherwise, there is no other solution than to endure or to change the phone for one that remains just as basic but would be better equipped with memory, 64 or even 128 GB.

In any case, and of course in the absence of the accumulation of all creator apps, it is the photos, videos, attachments... that take up space and should be considered for deletion, possibly backing up those we want, for example, on a computer.

Yes, I am well aware that this is an operation that is not within everyone's reach!

But as I stated, I don't do anything with my phone...

Each photo taken corresponds to photos that have an extremely limited lifespan.

If I really want to keep photos, I save them on my external hard drive (which I know is not immune to being infected).

So I don't want to change my phone since I don't install apps... I don't need more memory.

What annoys me is when I don't have a choice to manage options: For example, "Get App" constantly pops up, even though I couldn't care less about the suggestions!
