On CANON TS5050 printer: error message "2114"

Hello,

On my CANON TS5050 printer, I want to make a simple photocopy:

I select A4 paper in the "settings" and there is indeed A4 in the paper tray... and in the end, it gives me the message "2114 the paper in the tray does not match the one specified in the settings..."

it's crazy... I stopped the printer and did a firmware update... same problem.

  Is the paper sensor broken?

What do you think?

    Hello,

    Try a complete reset:
    Press Setup on the control panel.

    Go to Machine Settings > Reset > Reset All and confirm with OK.

    Restart the printer and reconfigure the paper settings.
