hello

Can someone explain to me why I can't get channel number 4 on an LG TV that is about 12 to 13 years old?

I have a rooftop antenna and a decoder.

After scanning for channels, I noticed that channel number 4 and 26 are missing.

On the other hand, I have a second, older TV that changed channels without any problems.

Thank you for your help.

    Good evening,

Regarding the decoder in question, are we talking about an HD TNT adapter?

If that is indeed the case, try resetting it and then conduct a new channel scan, or consider using a newer or brand-new TNT adapter.

Is the channel search on the older television done using the same HD TNT adapter or not?

    Hello

You need to perform a channel search:

    Here’s how to do it:

    1. Turn on your television.
    2. Press the Menu or Home button on your remote control.
    3. Go to the settings, then to channel settings or channel configuration (the name varies by model).
    4. Start an automatic channel search.
    5. Wait during detection. This usually takes a few minutes.
    6. Once the search is complete, confirm and exit the menu.
