Hello,

Today my Firefox updated to version 138 on my Mac.

Since the update, I can't access Youtube, but I can access Gmail without any problem. As soon as I click on the Youtube icon, the whole page turns gray and nothing happens.

With other browsers, there is no problem; I can access Youtube.

I'm attaching a screenshot of the gray page as soon as I try to connect to Youtube.

Thank you in advance to those who take the time to help me.

    Good evening,

Don't touch anything and wait a bit.

I'm afraid it might be on their end!

      Hello MPMP10

I did it but unfortunately it doesn't change anything. I will wait as you suggested.

      OK.

Your Mac and your browser are not to blame, have a good evening.

    Hello,

Have you cleared the Firefox cache?

So what does it look like in private browsing?

    Hello

    Same thing on PC.

Crashes, black screen, etc. Nothing works. In the end, I had to restart the computer. Pure joy!

And I see that Firefox prevents any return to a previous version.

I don't usually use Firefox. I just read that this software is losing ground. How could it be otherwise?

      Hello Pierr10,

I forgot to mention in my post that only YouTube doesn't work with Firefox. No problem with other sites.

Normally, Firefox works very well and I have been using it since its very beginnings, so for many years, and I have always been completely satisfied with this software, which I recommend.

That's exactly what I noticed: the problem is with Youtube.

And it's true that usually there are no major issues.

But it's really not serious to offer an update that has such a problem.
