Hello,

My computer crashed recently, and I can’t find the little program I had installed that allowed me to scan and have files in PDF format.
I had installed this program because my scanner was no longer compatible with W11.

If you have any tips, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you! :)

    Hello,

I personally resolved a similar situation (Epson printer where Windows 11 is having issues with Epson Scan) by using HP Scan and Capture.

The catch is that HP and the Microsoft Store, where it was available, have written it off.

You can still find it for download on a Korean site by typing its sweet name into Google:

        Hello,

What it doesn't tell us, unless I misunderstood, is whether the application I suggested works for you as it does for me under similar circumstances.

I found this for you, with reservations

      HP_SMART_APPX

Otherwise, as mentioned here, there is snap2

I suggest you uninstall and perform a clean reinstallation of the printer.

Download and install --> Revo Uninstaller
    Run it as administrator
    Uninstall all HP printer products
Follow the tutorial carefully to completely uninstall everything, including residual folders and keys.
For the residual scan, check --> advanced mode
    Restart the PC.

    Turn on the printer
Start the driver setup --> Full_Webpack-40.15.1230-EN5640_Full_Webpack.exe
    Follow the instructions.

      Good evening kaneagle

      Sorry for my late reply.
I installed Revo Uninstaller but it doesn't find my printer, whether it's offline or online.

    Hello

The uninstallation applies to everything called EPSON, not envy.

      Hello
Thank you, but I couldn't find anything under the name "EPSON".

I'm juggling between scanned documents that are in "jpeg" format, even though when I have multiple pages to scan, I would like to have them as a single document in PDF format....

it cannot find my printer, whether it is offline or online.

When you launch Revo-Uninstaller, is Epson not in the list of applications?

      Hello
I'm sorry, but I didn't receive a notification for your reply.
And no, Revo-Uninstaller doesn't find Epson for me.

Sorry, it's not Epson that I meant to mention, but actually Envy.
This model is a HP and not Epson.

Is it not on the list?

    Hello,

try opening PowerShell in the start menu and copy-paste this:

     Get-Printer | Select-Object Name,Location,PortName,DriverName

if the address is 192.168.xxx.x try to connect with the browser.

You can also try Naps2, personally one of the best but that's just my opinion.

portable version or installer can be convenient :)
