Low sound output from Freebox

Hello community,
Recently I had the opportunity to get fiber optic installed, so now I have two sources to choose from for TV: the traditional antenna or fiber.
I noticed a big difference in sound quality between fiber and the antenna.
Even when turning the volume all the way up via the Freebox fiber, I'm not satisfied because the sound level is normal but limited.
To give you an idea, on the antenna, on a scale of 1 to 10, when the volume is at 8, it's very loud.
But on the box, even with the volume turned all the way up,
it's just average.
So my question is the following:
Can the box be configured to output more power when it comes to sound volume?
Thank you for your feedback.

Hello,
Which model is this Free box?
It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...
Hello,
I have a mini4K and the corresponding TV player, and I also find that the sound from the channels of the box is quieter than the sound from the TV's DTT.
I remember reading explanations that there was a mechanism on the box player to equalize the sound between all channels that may use different audio codecs. On the player, there should be in the HDMI sound settings, a Passthrough mode, or maybe TV to disable the equalization. The Freebox would then stop processing the sound and pass it through to the TV as it is. But then the channels are controlled using the Freebox remote, and the sound is managed with the TV remote.
Hello
I'm having the same issue; I have to juggle between the 2 remote controls, TV & Freebox.
Once the volume is set on the TV, you just need to adjust the volume using the Freebox remote, but in any case, the volume can vary from one channel to another.
As jee pee said, Passthrough problem
To restore a higher sound level via HDMI or SPDIF, you need to disable Passthrough mode and select maximum DRC from the settings menu>Audio
We will therefore have:
– normalized volume at -23dB for all codecs in the following cases:
- DRC MAX and primary Analog input.
- DRC MAX and primary HDMI input, passthrough off
- DRC MAX and primary SPDIF input, passthrough off
Hello,
It's an old problem that already existed with the Freebox V5.
On the Revolution, my settings are those indicated by baladur13: Passthrough disabled and DRC set to maximum.
The sound level is better, but it's not certain that the quality is optimal.
On the Freebox remote, the volume is set to maximum and adjustments are made from the TV remote. It's obviously not very comfortable, but I've noticed that the TV remote also allows you to change channels on the box.
All of that was before!
Currently, I have a TV running Android and I'm watching TV on the OQEE app. The picture is much better and there are no sound issues.
Ultimately, the Player is used very little: mainly for recordings and Blu-ray playback.
What we conceive well is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Thank you everyone,
.
I did the operation (cut the passthrough and set the DRC to the max).
The DRC was already at max.
No change.
I took the opportunity to re-pair the remote and control it.
.
Still the same.
Since the sound at full (100) remains acceptable, I will stay like this.
Free told me that the only way to adjust the sound was to turn both remotes to full.
Then they suggested removing the passthrough and setting the DMC to full.
No big deal, anyway I only rarely use the TV box.
Thank you for your interventions.
