Good evening,
I have two Macs (a 2009 iMac and a 2009 white MacBook)
I noticed that Firefox is no longer working.
When I try to open my Orange email, it asks me to log in to access my inbox, but nothing happens!
Can you help me?
Thank you.
Bernard.

Good evening,
Thank you for responding.
Yes, every time I ask a question, I can't find the right place to put my question in the right spot.
Could you please point me in the right direction so I don't make the same mistake again?
Thank you.
I can't use Safari on my white MacBook 2009 OS (El Capitan) because it doesn't work. (Checked if you can in my saved discussions, Safari has disappeared?) I haven't had time to try to fix it following the advice I was given.
To respond, I also have another Mac (iMac mid-2009) Mac OS Mavericks. Safari has a problem.
Personally, I like Firefox. Firefox doesn't work on either computer.
Hello,
It is likely that any relatively recent version will fail.
The last one that would be compatible is 3.6.28.
Check if it still works or try an alternative browser.

I haven't seen that the original versions have been slightly migrated, which is less bad at first glance.

It is not guaranteed that even ESR 78 still works, because its code may be outdated, its security certificates may be missing, and a number of sites may not support it...
Good evening,
It's still incredible that I have Firefox ESR 78 on my iMac 2009 Mac OS Mavericks 10.9.5 and I can't read my emails.
And Safari is down on 9.1.3 (9537.86.7.8) what should I do?
Yes, I know my Mac is an old thing that still works.
I know that Francis should know a solution.
Thank you for your responses.
Best regards.
Bernard.

I will try to Download Firefox 128.11 Oesr.dmg
MBP + macOS Ventura
OpenOffice, LibreOffice
Good evening Bernard, it is likely that your 2009 Macs are too old to run the recent versions of Firefox properly, which prevents access to certain sites like Orange's email. You can try another lighter browser, access your email from a newer device, or use the Mail app on your Mac if it is already set up with your address. Otherwise, go directly to mail.orange.fr from another updated device.
Good evening,
Thank you for your response.
I don’t use email and I must say I didn’t think of it for a single moment.
Have a good evening.
Good evening dede74000,
Thank you for taking the reins on my story.
It's not new that I seek help on this subject!
Some time ago I asked for help with Safari that I can't seem to get back and now Firefox is acting up as well.
I have a mid-2009 MacBook with OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6.
According to what you told me, I should be able to recover Firefox.
I'll give it a try and keep you posted.
We’ll deal with Safari later.
Right now I'm using an HP PC on Windows 10 to contact CCM.
Thank you and see you soon.
Bernard.
Good evening dede74000,
As agreed, I'm here to update you on my attempts with your solution.
1) I managed to install Firefox on my El Capitan OS on my mid-2009 MacBook.
2) Should I install Thunderbird 78.14.0?
3) I just downloaded Thunderbird 78.14.0 and I have completed the download.
I'm a bit lost on how to use Thunderbird.
Thank you.
Have a good evening.
Bernard.
