Unable to install Realtek Ethernet
Anonymous user -
Hello, after installing CyberGhost on my PC, after 2 days, I no longer have internet access via the Ethernet port (MSI PRO B760-P WIFI)
I checked in the network settings (Win 11) and I can't find the network card.
I decided to reinstall the Realtek Ethernet controller driver, but it shows me an error:
the Realtek network controller was not found if deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable
Also, I don't see my network card in the device manager
Do you have any idea? Thank you

Good evening,
I decided to reinstall the Realtek Ethernet controller driver, but it shows me an error: the realtek network controller was not found if deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable. Also, I can't see my network card in the device manager, do you have any idea? You have indeed been to the dedicated MSI platform... https://fr.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B760-P-WIFI/support
Hello.
Since your network card doesn't appear in the device manager, it might be faulty. However, check in the hidden devices as well.
If it turns out that your network card is faulty, you can install a new one, here's an example of a network card. Here’s another one, more powerful.
Don't forget to update the driver:

A hello, a response, and a thank you are always appreciated.
Hello,
I sometimes use CyberGhost (…), like many VPNs it disables IPv6, we'll see.
To recover Ethernet, I would uninstall all connections in "Network and Sharing Center," except for Wi-Fi, then I would restart; the network card shouldn't have been saved.
If it's still not better, uninstall the VPN, then restart again.
It's possible that some drivers (OpenVPN) might be causing issues.
