Hello,

I have had a McAfee pop-up for a few days telling me that I have a virus that opens when I browse the internet (Mozilla and Chrome browsers).

I ran a scan with Windows Defender which indicated that there was a Trojan related to these pop-ups. I clicked on delete after the scan, and since then there are no more threats but these pop-ups still persist...

What can I do?

    But where could these pop-ups be coming from? Hiding the notifications doesn’t just conceal the problem?

    It comes from a pop-up that you authorized without paying attention,

    example here:

    The action you took either removes or blocks the site depending on what you chose to do
