My problem is that sometimes, when I go to a site that has nothing to do with adult sites, pop-up windows suddenly appear out of nowhere! It’s really annoying; how can I make it stop and where could it be coming from? Thank you for your replies and help!

P.S.: I'm using Google Chrome!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 22.0.1229.79

    Hello,

    --> Download and run AdwCleaner (by Xplode), choose the "Scan" option and post the report.

      Two pieces of advice:
      1 - When you visit c-l sites, use private browsing mode
      2 - Check "resolved" below the title of your topic when your problem is... resolved!

      1. I don't go on personal adult sites, but I'm not the only one using the computer so... x)
      2. I was actually planning to do it; but first I preferred to download the AdwCleaner in question to see if it really worked.
