Hello,
Every half hour or so, a pop-up of an ugly thing (I'm 12 years old...) opens in Mozilla, and it's becoming a bit annoying because it's a new computer and I haven't been on any sites (I promise ^^)
Anyway... I deleted the cookies, but it still happens ;(
Does anyone know where it's coming from?
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.5.7

    Hello

    By the way

If you did what Guillaume5188 recommends here https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-16419313-pop-up-porno#16 You would be making progress instead of installing random things and messing around ;;))

instead of installing random stuff and doing whatever ;;))
If we install security software on our PC, is it nonsense?

        27 posts, for nothing.
        Well yes, I'm sorry.......
Before doing anything, we should have known what the PC contains, right?
        BUT, the PC IS COMPROMISED.
So, following Guillaume's advice would be much more rewarding.

"Is it nonsense to install security software on your PC?"

        In this case, YES!

It is infected, we need to identify and treat the infection.
So telling him: "Install an antivirus, run CCleaner, install this or that", yes, that’s nonsense!

Guillaume gave him the right method, there’s nothing else to do if he wants to get rid of his infections.
Everything else that has been said is useless....
