Hello, my EPSON Stylus DX 4450 printer suddenly refuses to print and the 3 indicator lights stay on solid. After turning it off and then back on, the cartridge carriage does not move, the ON light turns on and then 2 or 3 seconds later the other 2 lights stay on solid. Whether the printer is connected to the computer or not, the problem is the same. Can someone help me?

Thank you for the information regarding the 3 lights that remain on my DX 4450. It seems to be the end of life for the saturated used ink cartridge???. Solution: contact the dealer.. Very well, except that no one wants to handle the repair because it costs more than buying a new one. I would really like to repair it because it goes very well with my old computer. What should I do?

        Hello,

I've already done this on a CANON MP990, I don’t know about an EPSON DX4450, but I simply removed the used ink cartridge, cleaned it well with clear water, let it dry, and put it back in after cleaning the used ink outlets of the printer with a cotton swab.

It worked for me, so we'll see...
