Black screen no signal since valorant

Hello,
First of all, I apologize for my total ignorance in computing.
My son has a PC running Windows 11, it can handle various games, but he made a big mistake.
He wanted to play Valorant, he received a message to go into the BIOS to activate secure boot, the PC turned off, and at startup, there is a black screen with no signal. It's impossible to access the BIOS to correct the error, nothing responds.
Here are the actions that were taken by
a PC repairman:
disassembly of all components, they all work on another PC.
attempt to reset the BIOS (via pins and battery) - Change the graphics card - Change the processor - Remove the memory and disks - Use a monitor with DisplayPort connection instead of HDMI
The only thing he thinks is wrong is the motherboard, so he gave me a link to buy a motherboard: The ASRock A520M-ITX/AC supports motherboards with AMD AM4 Ryzen™/Future AMD Ryzen™ 3rd generation processors (3000 and 4000 series)
My question is: do you think that's plausible? The repairman isn't sure himself, would installing a new motherboard solve the problem?
And especially what happened? (so it doesn't happen again)
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
When your son enabled Secure Boot in the BIOS, it may have caused an issue related to hardware incompatibility or the boot mode used by Windows. Secure Boot is a feature that checks whether the installed operating system is secure before starting it. If misconfigured, it can prevent the PC from booting or even displaying anything on the screen (black screen).
The technician tried several maneuvers, and since they did not resolve the issue, he suspects a motherboard problem, which is not entirely unlikely, but is not certain.
However, before buying a new motherboard, you might consider the following options:
Completely reset the BIOS: This has already been attempted (via the pins and the CMOS battery), but it may be useful to check if it was done completely. Sometimes you need to leave the battery disconnected for several minutes.
Test with minimum configurations: If it hasn’t been done already, try to boot the PC with only the essential components: processor, one stick of RAM, without hard drive or dedicated graphics card, to see if the BIOS display appears.
Reset Secure Boot without BIOS: Sometimes there are ways to reset the Secure Boot settings using specific tools or bootable USB drives, but this largely depends on the motherboard.
If the motherboard is indeed faulty, its replacement should solve the problem.
It is indeed plausible that the motherboard is to blame, especially if all other components have been tested and are functioning. The fact that there is no signal on the screen after several troubleshooting attempts points in that direction. However, if you are not sure about buying a new motherboard immediately, you might try one last check with a more experienced technician or an IT repair service to confirm the diagnosis.
