My iPad screen is peeling off, what should I do?

Hello,

For the past few days, I've noticed that my iPad Air 2 screen is coming loose on two sides. The battery doesn't seem swollen since the screen fits into the structure without issue. The iPad has been slightly curved over time due to bumps, and it seems like the adhesive has "melted"? I think that the heat combined with the warped structure is causing the screen to come loose.

Should I take it to a shop for repair, or can I do it myself?

    Hello,

Is it still under warranty (2 years from the date of purchase)?... You can always check with an Apple store.

      Hello,

Do check in at an Apple store, after all.

      Hello,

Watch this video for a screen replacement you can do yourself:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJeffbzoxcU

You can see how he starts out so that you can try to reattach the panel.

If you don't have the tool to detach the screen, you can use a sort of loyalty card or an old bank card.
