Hello,
My Sony Bravia TV has been turning off automatically for a few days and turns on again for just a fraction of a second before shutting down. The only thing that continues to work is the red light at the bottom of the TV, which blinks 5 times.
Is there a solution to this problem that doesn't require too much computer skills?

A Sony TV that blinks 5 times? This is a sign that the T-CON board is defective. It's an electronic board that links the motherboard and the display panel. Unless you have serious skills in electronics, you won’t be able to intervene yourself, maybe just replace it entirely.
