Google Docs: automatic capitalization at the beginning of a sentence
duc -
Hello,
I would like to be able to use the automatic capitalization at the beginning of a sentence option in Google Docs.
There is no way to access this option.
I see "lowercase," "UPPERCASE," and "capitalization at the beginning... of each word," and that's it, there are only these three options!
It seems to me that the usefulness of the last option is frankly very relative compared to the more than necessary ability to automatically write capital letters at the beginning of each sentence. So why is this option missing?
Does anyone have a solution, please?
Thank you :)

Hello,
It's written in Google.
In the Tools menu, click on AutoCorrect Options. Click on the AutoCorrect tab. Uncheck the box for capitalizing the first letter of sentences.

Hello,
I obviously went to the Google Docs support to find an answer to the problem before posting here, to no avail...
As for Tools in Google Docs, I don't even have "auto-correct option" in the menu or any submenu whatsoever. From there, I can't activate or deactivate it because I don't have that option.
Attached photo (since the screenshot shortcut doesn't work with a dropdown menu open)
I just posted a message on the Google Docs forum.
Hello,
It seems that this feature is only active with Google Docs in English.

I read too, I believe the trick... is that you need to be in English on an English version...! And this menu appears... and for the rest (in French) it's OK...
It's a bit strange, but that's what I read... it might help you.
