Unable to activate the professional mode on my FB profile.

Hello,

I would like to switch my FB account to professional mode.

I have gone through the FB help articles and basically it’s very simple:

To Activate Professional Mode

  1. Click on your profile picture at the top right of Facebook, then on your name.
  2. Click on below your cover photo.
  3. Click on Activate Professional Mode.
  4. Click on Activate.

The only problem is that when I click on those famous (...) I don’t see this option: "Activate Professional Mode" in the drop-down list.

Thanks to the help articles, I submitted a request in "report a problem" on FB explaining that I couldn't activate this mode since it didn’t appear anywhere and got no response... it’s been more than a month now since I made this request.

Does anyone have a solution / I don’t want to create another account because I have nearly 5000 followers, and I find myself unable to add new acquaintances since in non-pro mode the number is limited to 5000.

    Hello,

    A personal account is limited to 5,000 friends (so no help for this kind of request…).

    Whether you use your profile in professional mode or with a Page, the number of people who follow you is unlimited, and you can follow up to 5,000 people. Your profile can have up to 5,000 friends, even in professional mode.

    I misread some information.

    In the end, I need to be able to convert my FB account into a page.
    Is it possible to convert a FB profile into a page?

    An individual cannot create a page.

    Remember that only official representatives can create a Page for an organization, business, brand, or public figure.

    If you are not an official representative but would like to create a space for discussion for enthusiasts of a topic or fans of a specific celebrity, you can create a Facebook group.

    I expressed myself poorly. What I meant is that I don't want to be limited in the number of people who want to follow me. So I wanted to invite other people, but now I'm stuck.

      This number is limited to 5,000 for an individual.

    Well, I think I'm terrible at this... I'm talking about followers...

    With a regular FB account, you can have 5000 friends, that's it.

    With a page, you can have 5000 friends but be followed by 10,000 / 15,000 people. In short, you can get more views than with a basic FB account.
