TV Polaroid stuck on media menu

Hello,

I have a Polaroid TVC55UHDP. The remote control no longer works, so I'm using the buttons on the bottom of the screen. However, I mistakenly clicked on the USB media menu (photo, music, video, text). Unfortunately, I can't find any way to exit it, so I can't use my TV because every time I restart it, I get stuck on this menu. I've seen that there was a solution found through a universal remote control. I bought two today and they can't connect... The supplier told me that my TV is not in their database... I also sent a message to Polaroid.

If anyone has a solution to help me connect the universal remote or to manually exit this menu without a remote, I would be grateful!!!

Thanks in advance,

David

Hello,

Try unplugging the power cord.

The supplier told me that my TV was not in their database…

In this case, if the brand of the television is not listed (for the corresponding code…) in the list, you need to follow the procedure that allows you to search for the code in the manual provided with the remote control in question.

It is advisable to provide the exact reference of each device in this area and for this kind of question on a forum.

Already done, for several minutes or even hours and no change.

Thank you anyway for your response.

Regarding the universal remote: brand One for All, URC7115, and there is no indication on how to search the code library (the previous one allowed it, without success, but I returned it to the store to try this one which promises 100% compatibility...).

The supplier provided me with a code without certainty that it would work, and unfortunately, that was the case.

Hello,

I would like to know if you have found a solution? I have exactly the same problem as you and without a remote control, it’s impossible to connect the universal one; everything is stuck on this screen: photo, music, video, text, with no way to exit... Thank you for your help.
