Open images in small size

Hello, I recently got a new computer.
Since the beginning, when I open an image, it displays small.
I would like it to display in full screen automatically without having to click "maximize window" each time. I don’t know if there’s a way to do it, but I’ve never done it since I’ve had computers.
The manipulation is done on Windows 11 and the default app "Photos" of Windows.
If you could guide me, please, thank you.

Hello
As strange as it may seem, Microsoft has removed this option, who knows why, it's a bit stupid on their part, let's admit it.
So it is simply not possible at the moment.
The only option is to find another third-party image viewer that allows this and install it, then set that program as the default for opening images.
Best regards

Hello,
This is for example the normal behavior of FastStone Image Viewer when opening an image from the context menu.
If there are multiple images in the same folder, you just need to move to the right with the arrow key to view the following ones always in full screen.

Thank you for the response. What seems strange is that my brother has the same Win11 as I do and he doesn't have this problem; it opens in full screen right away.
I'll see if I can find another software, but as you said, it still seems crazy.
Hello, thank you for the answer as well, I will look for one then
It seems strange to me because internet searches all say the same thing, Photos has no option for that. Not having WIN 11, I can't test it.
But I searched again and nothing indicates this possibility, except with an impractical workaround. If it works for your brother, it would be necessary to compare the versions of "Photos"; it's not Win 11, maybe there's an older version because it existed previously and users have complained to Microsoft about no longer having it.
Correction here's what I found but it needs to be verified as it may depend on the version:
Using the Windows Photos app
Open the Photos app :
Photos app settings :
Enable full-screen option :
Using another image viewer
If the Photos app does not offer the option to start in full-screen automatically, you can use another image viewer such as IrfanView, FastStone Image Viewer, or XnView. Here’s how to configure IrfanView to open images in full-screen:
Download and install IrfanView :
Configure IrfanView to open images in full-screen :
Set IrfanView as the default image viewer :
With these settings, every time you double-click on a photo, it will automatically open in full-screen with IrfanView.
