Hello,

Recently, while taking a look at the event viewer, I noticed an error that occurs very frequently: tmhidusb. This error is indicated with a red exclamation mark. In "EventData," it looks like this: \Device\_HID00000005
GetICom Fail, 41/0, iter:2/3, s:0xc0000001 us:0xc0000004 port:0x3 bytes:0, FW:00.07.

What is this error?

Thank you.

Hello, thank you for your message. I had the same thought because I indeed have a USB steering wheel with pedals. Could this be coming from the driver that crashes for no reason? It was recently updated.

Hello, thank you for your responses. I was wondering if this might be due to the power supply of the PC, which is new by the way, and from the following brand: be quiet! Pure Power 11 - 600W - Gold.

The motherboard is an Asus Prime H670 Plus D4. The BIOS has not been updated since everything is working after all.

    Thank you.

Hello, in another recent situation, I pressed the power button on the computer and now it says another error: kernel power in the event viewer. So I think I'll use the PC warranty for a power supply issue.

    Hello,

I'm following up on the post because I will try to run tests on this PC wheel. Could the problem come from the USB cable that generates this tmhidusb error? I'm planning to replace it to check if that’s the issue. Here is the USB cable in question:
