TV splitter indicator light no longer green
Pauline -
Hello,
I have a TV splitter in my mobile home and it was working fine. On my last visit, I didn’t get any signal on my televisions and I noticed that the green light on the splitter no longer comes on. However, I tested the power outlet and it works.
Do you have any idea where the problem might come from?
Just to clarify, the splitter is for 3 TVs that were working well and none of them are receiving a signal anymore.

Unfortunately, I am not on-site to provide you with this information.
I will return in a few days with the answers ????
Thank you for your help.
A TV amplifier can be found almost everywhere (retailers selling home appliances - Amazon or others), and normally the replacement doesn't present any special difficulties.
The question remains how it looks and what types of connectors are used (screw-on F connectors or others (IEC)).
It’s very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it isn’t there...
First of all, you need to determine where the fault is... on the power supply unit or on the preamplifier that is attached to the antenna mast.
To do this:
- Unplug the power supply unit
- Unplug the cable going to the television by unscrewing the connector attached to "TV2"
- Unplug the cable going to the antenna by unscrewing the connector attached to "Antenna input"
- Reconnect the power supply and see if the power indicator on the unit lights up
If the indicator lights up again, then the problem is not with the power supply unit.
Try reconnecting the cable to the antenna; if the indicator goes out, the issue is with the amplifier attached to the antenna mast.
If the indicator remains lit, reconnect the cable to TV2.
If the indicator goes out again, then the issue is with the TV sockets or one of the televisions.
Replacing the amplifier is not complicated... unplug the two cables "Antenna input" and "TV2", unplug the power supply, unscrew the screws that secure the unit to the casing, and do the same in reverse to reconnect the new unit.
A priori, you should have a preamplifier + power supply kit of this type

So I don't have the amplifier's references yet, but I was told from a distance that it was the one that was broken.
Is it easy to buy one and change it yourself, or do you necessarily have to call in a professional?
