CPL is no longer working

Hello,

For the past 2 days my powerline connection has not been working. It happened once before and rebooting my box fixed the issue. This time nothing works; I have reinstalled the entire system, and I even tried with new powerline adapters (all from the Boulanger brand) but nothing changes. Strange point: when I connect powerline adapter 1 to my box, I lose my connection on my mobile phone but it works on the computer. In any case, with powerline adapter 2, the one I installed in my distant room, all the lights are green, I can connect but the internet is not working. Where could the problem be coming from? My box? My electrical installation (which has not been modified)? Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello,

Two days ago, you had this problem on the 10th and if a restart of the box had fixed it and it stopped working again within 24 hours, then it wasn't fixed.

Can you test it with a direct cable to the box?

Is the PC connected via wifi or ethernet to the CPL modem?

I think one device is interfering with the electrical network, probably a small power supply or charger, it's so common ....

And there you go, voilà ....

But goodness, those line breaks are so annoying!!

The PC is on Wi-Fi. But what do you mean by testing with a direct cable to the box? When I connect the powerline adapter, I link it directly with a cable to the box. I don't have any new connections to my outlets. Could it be with the neighbors?

Directly to the router, I mean the PC directly to the router, via ethernet, it does have an ethernet card, right?

It could be with the neighbors, yes, but it could also be a power supply that's acting up, so you need to try unplugging everything that's possible, except for household appliances.

But you also need to be prepared to invest, for example in a mesh wifi system and to connect the powerline adapters to the old devices.
