Hello

Hello,

Here is a user manual for the "Linsar" TV; I don't know if it's the correct model..

https://www.modesdemploi.fr/linsar/ls65uhdsm21/mode-d-emploi?p=15

For the remote control, refer to pages 14 and 15... Just to remind you, this remote requires batteries to be installed... In good condition and the right way around...

However, it is in English, even in the so-called French manual... sorry

Thank you very much, it's kind of you, but I don't know English or the model of the second-hand TV I bought; I thought all I had to do was plug it in to access the channels and TNT, but nothing happened; I then bought a small decoder that I connected to the HDMI, and now I have the channels, but the picture is awful, distorted, the red color is off, in a word, I think I've been "had." Thanks again anyway.

Usually, the model of the TV is written on a plaque or label on the back of the TV... it may also display on the screen during startup...

This would be useful information to have the correct manual...

A TV needs to perform a "SCAN" to find all the TV transmitters in your area upon first startup...

If you have a poor image, you may not be on the nearest or the strongest transmitter... But on another one, further away or weaker...

It would be better to redo a scan and select the stations with the strongest reception level.

Hello again

The brand of the TV is LINSAR 19 LED 900. I looked for it but found nothing. I also tried searching for channels but nothing came up either; when I select the TNT source, it displays: empty database, and with HDMI on the decoder, it works but then I can’t access any settings like brightness, color, etc... so never mind, I’ll just continue seeing "red," it's annoying!

I wish you a good evening and thank you for your kindness.

I suppose you have two remote controls...??

One is for your little TNT decoder.. changing channels, etc..

The other is specific to the TV, that's the one you need to use to adjust the colors... Or to go into the settings menus (of the television)

Seeing red, that can have its benefits..? but it's not relaxing.

Yes, that's right, but precisely with the TV one I can't access the color settings, etc. It's complicated! Or is it me who's being "dumb"? Jokes aside, it's frustrating.

This TV is a special export product, not necessarily intended for France... however, it should work... it should even receive TV on its own...

These TVs are also intended for hotels or hospitals and other collective settings... with the "Hotel" operating mode that needs to be disabled to switch to public TV mode... Your case may be blocked because of this.

Here is a method to remove the Hotel mode:

Press and hold simultaneously the menu button on the TV and the menu button on the remote control (starting with the TV's menu button) for about 7 seconds.

The factory menu will appear.

Press the menu button again (remote control).

Then press OK to select the line: LG mode hotel setup

The hotel mode will appear.

To unlock the hotel mode, choose NO on the first line.

Press the menu button to exit the hotel mode.

Turn off the TV.

The manuals are all in English... so there's no choice... or you need to get help.

Thank you for everything, but I'm "fed up" and I'm giving up. Have a very good evening.
