SC441 error code on Ricoh MP C2500 copier

Hello

This error code SC441 on Ricoh MP C2500 copier is displaying. Restarting does not solve the problem.

    Restarting does not solve the problem.

    Error code:

    • Code: SC441-00
    • Description: Drum transfer motor: Lock Lock signals are observed at 2-second intervals during motor operation and a high level is detected at least 20 times.
    • Causes: • Defective motor • Disconnected connector • Broken harness • Defective IOB • Increased unit torque
    • Remedy: • Replace the motor • Reconnect the connector • Replace the harness • Replace the IOB • Check the load on the motor (PCDU, image transfer unit, paper transfer unit, used toner bottle). • Replace the PCDU, image transfer unit, paper transfer unit, or used toner bottle.

        Personally, I would lean more towards buying a new printer.

        Apparently no more toner for this copier.
        Purchase of a new copier...not in the budget,
