Hello, I have a MG3650S printer with which I could always print in "Draft" mode to save ink. Three days ago, I reinstalled it because the scanner wasn't working well. Since then, the "draft" print quality mode no longer appears as an option; only "Optimal" and "Normal" modes are available for print quality. Could you please tell me how to make the "draft quality" mode appear again for printing? I have a MacBook Pro OS Sonoma 14.4.1.

    Hello,

"... I reinstalled it again 3 days ago...":
A question to try to narrow down your issue:
    • case 1: did you install the same driver as before (like the driver that existed at the time of your printer purchase)
    or
    • case 2: did you download the version available on the Canon website (and therefore the 2023 version)?

If it's case 1 and you installed the same driver version, then I don't know what to think and I don't know how to help you.

If it's case 2 and you installed the new 2023 version, one explanation could be that Canon removed this option in their latest version.
A solution to try would be to go to the Canon website and choose an older driver version like the one from 2020 for macOS Mojave.
Only you know which macOS version was installed on your Mac when you bought this printer, so I'll let you choose the "right" driver version and try to install it and see if you find the draft mode or not.
