Confidential code: keyboard locked (the letters)

Solved

Hello,

I have a problem entering my password on my HP laptop.

When I need to enter the access password to go to the desktop, I can't type the letters of the password on the keyboard. The numbers work, though.

After trying several techniques to unlock it with the keyboard keys (fn etc..) that didn't work, not knowing what to do, I wanted to reset the computer, and to do that, you have to enter the password, and strangely that works. (F11 page after a safe reboot)

How can I regain access to the letters on the computer without necessarily resetting it?

Thank you!

    Hello.

Apparently your PC is asking for the PIN (numbers) to log into Windows, in which case there should be "confidential code" in the field. When you are at the login window, click on sign-in options and choose the password.
