Hello,

for the past few days, I've been receiving constant messages from Avast indicating that it has eliminated a threat by blocking access to a site infected with a virus.

These are viruses on Edge, of the Scam or Blacklist type...

Here are 3 examples

What I don't understand is that I'm getting these messages even when I'm not connected to a site on Edge. Sometimes, Edge isn't even launched and I still receive these messages.

Can anyone help me?

I'm on Windows 10.

Thank you in advance.

Hello intrusive messages from Avast to get you to buy the premium version (upgrade your protection), the antivirus integrated into Windows is more than enough, you can uninstall Avast with this utility

      Hello

PS: When uninstalling Avast, Windows Defender automatically reactivates in Windows as soon as there is no other antivirus.

This can be seen in the task manager by the real-time protection process that reappears, MsMpEng.exe. @++

Thank you for the response. I suspected a bit of this explanation, but I didn't think that Avast would resort to harassment to get us to take the paid version.

Thank you also for the second response, as that was going to be my next question.
