Hello,
I am looking to reset a UnoWhy Y13 PC from the Île-de-France region because the password has been lost. I have tried several methods by restarting with "shift" or turning off the PC by holding the "power" button, but none of them work. I have a bootable USB drive, but since accessing the BIOS requires a password, I cannot get in. Please contact me if you have a solution suited to my problem. Thank you.

Hello,
The PC is a loan from the Ile de France Region. It does not belong to you. You must go through the school administrator for any operations.

Hello
If you look at the many responses, it's not possible for several reasons.
1- It's a code, on this forum it's decided that we don't help with codes, that's the forum's charter.
1 and a half- Anonymous, we can't contact you. The bot has hidden your info, there will only be this thread to read a response.
2- These are the PCs for the region, at least as long as there is a code that we don't know.
We can't modify a lot of things, recover... It's managed by the region.
But subcontracted by a company.
As long as it’s the region, it's a referent teacher or the school principal who can obtain from the company to repair or restore it as if it were a hardware failure, you have to go back to the "repair workshop" through the school.
3- At the end of the study cycle, they give it to the student, but for the same reason there is every year a session by the school or the region around autumn, which distributes to beneficiary students keys or codes to take possession of their offered PCs, it could be a service or a site for the region.
In any case through the school, you get the info to see which site eventually in certain regions, for you it's Île-de-France, to restore or get the codes. It's not really about computing, it's about the functioning of the national education by region.
Hello,
There is no direct contact on this forum, as you are a perfect anonymous and the rule is to provide answers publicly.
Moreover, a reset (implied on Windows) would be useless since the password in question is that of the BIOS, without which you cannot install or modify anything.
If the PC is still under the loan conditions of these educational PCs (not released before the end of the school cycle, see the loan agreement), you must go through the school's contact person who will provide this password to the borrower and not rely on the uncertain manipulations that might be suggested to you.
