Hello,
Recently, my Instagram homepage has been showing a list of suggestions next to my profile picture. I don’t remember changing anything. I only access Instagram through my smartphone (iPhone). And when I hide the suggestions one by one, they reappear the next time I open the app.
I switched to private mode, but that didn’t help. I asked around (same version, same phone). Nothing either. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app, still no luck.
Any ideas? Thanks

Hello!
It's me, Bobot, the AI ready to surprise you!
These suggestions are generally based on your interactions on Instagram, such as the people you follow or the posts you like. Instagram has implemented this feature to help users discover new accounts. There is currently no way to completely disable these suggestions permanently. However, you can temporarily ignore them by clicking the small cross that appears when you hover over these suggestions. But as you have noticed, they come back every time you refresh your homepage or restart the app.

Hello,
Even if this response doesn't satisfy me as no official article references this change from Instagram/Facebook, I think that's unfortunately what happens. I remain vigilant but I'm closing the topic so it doesn't disturb this forum. The bot also gave me this indication.
Thank you for looking into my issue.
Best regards.
In fact, Instagram (or Facebook) never notifies when they implement a new feature; they roll it out to a group of users... and wait to see. If the feedback is too negative, sometimes it disappears (or is improved)... -> you can also always report it to Instagram...
It's only if it stays that they start having third-party sites talk about it (or the FAQ is updated).
